FUNERAL SERVICE OPTIONS

Australian Federation Funeral Directors is a independent locally owned Brisbane based funeral company that offers a wide range of funeral care options that cater to budget and personal choice to families of Brisbane and its surrounding areas.

We offer the following funeral care options -

A Single Service Funeral
This style of funeral is only held at one venue, the service can take place in a chapel, a church, a crematorium chapel or at the graveside. Depending on the venue a viewing can also usually be held prior to the service commencing. Generally a member of clergy, a civil celebrant or even a family member or friend can conduct the service. This style funeral service incorporates a final committal with no cortege at the conclusion of the service.

A Dual Service Funeral
This style of funeral commences with either a church or chapel service. Generally a member of clergy, a civil celebrant or even a family member or friend can conduct the service. This is followed by a funeral cortege to the cemetery or crematorium where a final committal ceremony takes place.

Essential Care Service (No Funeral Service)
If your preference is for a no fuss option and you do not require a funeral service then the essential care service will best meet your needs. Your loved one is prepared the same as if they were having a funeral service, with the option of a viewing to say your private farewell, followed by a burial or cremation at the selected cemetery or crematorium with no mourners in attendance.

A Memorial or Thanksgiving Service
A memorial or thanksgiving service takes place after a private burial or cremation without the coffin or casket bearing the remains of your loved one present. If a cremation has taken place, should your family, so desire, the cremated remains may be present in a specially selected urn. Memorial services may be held in a church, chapel or a special place and generally a member of clergy, a civil celebrant or even a family member or friend can conduct the service.

Additional Service Offerings
Upon request we offer a range of additional funeral care options and services to help celebrate a life, including:

Which ever funeral care options you choose to celebrate the life of your loved one, our caring funeral directors will assist your family with the necessary arrangements every step of the way.
